Dr Sue Marris gives us an update on appraisals.

“I have worked as an appraiser since the start in 2002, becoming a Lead Appraiser in Lincolnshire in 2009. I love both roles and found them complimentary to my clinical work. I have been involved in training the new appraisers for 10 years, focused on promoting the supportive and developmental elements of the process. Having now left clinical practice, in addition to the appraisal work, I enjoy working as a mentor for the Impact Lincs service , gardening and walking our 3 Flat coated retrievers”
